At the age of 92, Wilson has more drive than men half his age. He steadily receives commissions as well as arranging and conducting assignments. His new album, Legacy, is his fifth big band album since he turned 80, and he continues to tour around the world, often supported by his son, Anthony Wilson, who gained fame as Diana Krall's guitarist. Tonight he is also joined by his grandson Eric Otis. Nothing brings the youthful exuberance out of Wilson more than actually being on stage in front of an audience and a stage full of musicians. He is walking jazz history.
